Okinawa International School Library is comprised of three libraries: Pre-Kinder Library in Naha Campus, Elementary Library, and Middle school & High School Library in Nanjo Campus.
Pre-Kinder Library supports children to open up a new world of reading. Owlet to Eaglet 2(3yr - 5yr) Class have weekly library visits to read and borrow both English and Japanese books. By developing deep affection for reading, children make a first step toward becoming inquirers.
The Elementary Library, located on the first floor of the Nanjo campus, holds a collection emphasizing UOI (Units of Inquiry), as well as a full range of English graded readers, and offers weekly library-related classes.
The Middle and High school library on the second floor of the same campus encourages students to use online databases in addition to print books in order to enhance our function as a research center.
