MYP Students organized community project Hyakuna Beach Cleanning on this Saturday morning
After extensive research on environmental issues, we decided to take an effective role in our community ocean protection.
Therefore, we are pleased to invite you to join our community project – Hyakuna Beach Cleaning on this Saturday morning! Please kindly read the detailed as follows:

09:00 – 09:20 Assembly to the Nanjo City Parking Space
09:20 Leave Nanjo City Office going to Hyakuna Beach
09:40 Expected Arrival to Hyakuna Beach
09:40 ~ 10:00 Assembly and Preparation in Hyakuna Beach
10:00 ~ 10:15 Opening Remarks & Guidelines
10:15 ~ 11:30 Cleaning
11:40 ~ 11:55 Closing Remarks
11:55 – 12:00 Preparation to go back to Nanjo City Office
12:20 Expected arrival in Nanjo City Office Parking Space
Parking areas
Due to very limited parking space near the beach, please do not drive there by yourself. We will be using the Nanjo City Office’s Parking Space. Shuttle bus from City Hall to the beach will be provided.
Slime Sales
We are also organizing a fundraising to donate to an organization in Okinawa called OCCN(Okinawa Clean Coast Network), which helps protect the rich nature of Okinawa.
Small slimes are 100 yen, and the bigger ones are 200 yen. (colors vary: for further information, please check and buy in the google forms)
“Just spare 2 hours of your precious time and help keep OUR beach clean. This is something that will last. Your every little action matters. The community needs you. The community needs us. It would be a great opportunity to get in touch with your community. Please come join us on Saturday at 10am”
