Good afternoon.
We are Kirara Takekura and Kelly Shin from MYP4.
We hope this letter finds you well.
We would like to thank all the community members—OIS parents, teachers and staff, students, local volunteers, and supervisors—for taking the time to attend our Hyakuna Beach Clean-up on Saturday. This event could not have been a success without your dedication and hard work.
We hope this event would have raised awareness and opened up vital conversations about the beaches of our community. Thank you for the participation and support of so many community members who attended. We really appreciate it. We also learned a lot from this activity and opened up new opportunities for reflections.
We look forward to seeing you in future events.

(The local horse farm also came for help. The ponies and students from the horse club carried garbages and sent them to the collection spot.)
