About Grade 5 Used Clothes Campaign
Grade 5 students are learning about the earth’s resources as part of our unit of Inquiry, and we discussed what actions we need to take to sustain our limited resources.
As a result, we decided to collect outgrown clothes and donate them to a charity organization.
Used Clothes Campaign ☆彡
1, Donation Period : September 26th, 2022 – October 3rd, 2022
2, Donation Items: Any clothes for any age and gender can be donated, except underwear. However, we can’t accept dirty, stained, or torn clothes. Please wash your clothes before donating them.
3, Goals:
– Give a second life to the clothes by recycling that will save water and energy.
– Keep sustainability and help to recycle clothes
– Reduce demand for resource-hungry new clothes, and have a real impact in making fashion more sustainable.
– Help those who can’t afford clothes, disaster victims, and even people with diseases.
Many of the clothes collected through the campaign were donated to a charity organization on October 21.
