Ecologically-friendly Dream House Design｜OKINAWA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

To commence the Design unit on Ecologically-friendly Dream House, MYP 2 students began inquiring and analyzing traditional Okinawan dwellings by recreating and assembling model houses utilizing popsicle sticks and recycled materials. They have now embarked on planning and designing their dream houses by creating 2D and 3D floor plans.

夢のエコホームのデザインユニットを始めるために、MYP2の生徒たちは、アイスキャンディーの棒やリサイクル素材を使って沖縄の伝統的な家を再現したり組み立てたりすることで、沖縄の伝統的な家について調べたり、分析したりしました。今では、2Dと3Dの間取り図を作成し、夢の家の計画とデザインに取り掛かっています。
